Accor hotels came to us looking for a solution for their sales and marketing repository. They were looking for a scale-able, closed platform that allowed multiple areas of the business to update information, was secure, and took dense information and made it accessible and visually stimulating.
There were a number of challenges with this site, it had a very deep navigation structure, with some quite complex information that need to be easily accessed by users, and we needed to create multiple secure entry points for a large number of editors.
The complexity of the navigation was made more approachable by utilising a visual system that create more engaging and less dense cues that lead users to their end goal quickly.
The information contained within the site is very functionally specific so we coupled it with vibrant images of the clients best products which gave life to otherwise very dry data. The development was challenging and working on the custom build we had to create a back end that was intuitive to a wide range of users across the brands.
Designed for a great user experience on a custom WordPress theme we developed the website to be functional, engaging and extensible. A challenge to build and implement but a very effective open source solution that has proved seamless for both users and editors.
Despite the level of complexity involved in this project, Litterini + Clark were confident they could deliver a product that would be easy to use, visually appealing and would handle the levels of content and navigation required to get it right. In the end, that’s exactly what we got. Now that our intranet is being successfully used across the business, we couldn’t be more pleased with how fantastic it looks!
