BRIEF

Our client required us to design and produce an instruction guide to demonstrate the correct procedure to administer one of their medicines in an emergency for a younger demographic.

SOLUTION

This is a prime example of melding the functional and creative to create effective graphic design. It was not just a case of bringing the elements together on a page but understanding the problem and meeting with stakeholders.

We met with nursing staff at one of Sydney’s major hospitals who demonstrated the correct procedure for giving an emergency injection. Once we understood the procedure we selected suitable models and photographed the key steps required to administer the injection. These photographs were then combined with text content and other design elements to create a clearly readable instruction guide which could easily be followed by a layman.
